Hope

I don’t know if you want to hear my story, but I’ll share it anyway. I was once a beloved neighborhood cat, cared for by kind-hearted people who fed me and gave me affection. One night, a group of young adults called me over. Trusting them, I approached, thinking they might offer food or kindness.

But they didn’t. Instead, they beat me, stabbed me, and struck my head repeatedly with a sharp object. The pain was unbearable—so much that I eventually blacked out. Believing I was dead, they left me there. I don’t remember much of what happened after that. Despite it all, I still love people, and I still trust them. My heart refuses to give up on the kindness I once knew.
